This time of year the Spring Snow Crabapple trees are in their full glory. We don’t always get to enjoy their beauty, sometimes we get storms that bring a hard downpour, or even hail, and being on the great plains there is always the threat of gusty winds to ruin the blossoms.
This year however, we were treated to their blooming at just the right time, with just the right weather to preserve their full splendor for longer than a day.
These trees are very popular here, because they produce no fruit, which means no mess to clean up. This time of year, the neighborhoods are awash in them. I hope you enjoy this taste of spring, I have.
